Three Named Charters, One Fixed Price
Our most-booked itineraries, priced up front. Every one includes Captain Josh Wilson, crew, fuel, ice, Starlink WiFi and up to 13 guests aboard the 52ft Marquis Flybridge. Weekday is Monday to Thursday, weekend is Friday to Sunday.
Golden Hour Sunset Cruise
Depart Maximo Marina two and a half hours before sunset, cruise past the Skyway and Fort De Soto, and anchor for the show. Music on all three decks.
Shell Key & Egmont Key Island Day
Sandbar swim at Shell Key, Fort Dade ruins and snorkeling at Egmont Key, dolphins on the run home. Bring a cooler; we bring the ice.
Dinner on Deck
The Golden Hour cruise plus dinner picked up dockside from one of the St. Pete restaurants we recommend, plated on the flybridge as the sun goes down. You order the food; we handle the rest.
Weekday vs. Weekend: What Will I Pay?
One all-inclusive hourly rate: $500/hr Monday through Thursday and $600/hr Friday through Sunday, 4-hour minimum, with captain, crew, and fuel included. A 4-hour charter is exactly $2,000 on a weekday or $2,400 on a weekend; 5 hours is $2,500 or $3,000. If your dates are flexible, take the weekday. Same yacht, same crew, same route.
Bahamas & Multi-Day Trip Pricing
Multi-day Bahamas and Florida Keys charters start at $9,500 and are quoted custom based on duration, destination, fuel for the offshore crossing, dockage at island marinas, and provisioning. A typical 3-day Bimini run comes to $9,500 to $13,000 all-in for a group of 6 to 8. Longer Exumas trips and Key West voyages quote higher. The yacht has a 600-mile range and full cabin accommodations for overnight comfort. Call (727) 609-2248 for a same-day custom quote.
What's Included in Every Charter?
Every Yacht Away Now charter includes the full 52ft Marquis Flybridge (all 3 decks, 1,200+ sq ft cabin, 800+ sq ft deck), your USCG-licensed captain at the helm, premium audio across all decks, Starlink WiFi, ice and cooler space, USCG-rated life jackets for every guest, and customizable routing within the day's itinerary. BYOB and BYO food are welcome on every charter. We provide ice and cooler space, and glass bottles get transferred to plastic dockside (Coast Guard rule). Captain gratuity (10-15% of base) is at guest discretion and is not included.

What's included in the charter price?
Everything. Every charter is one all-inclusive rate with captain, crew, and fuel included and no hidden fees: $500/hr on weekdays (Mon-Thu) and $600/hr on weekends (Fri-Sun), with a 4-hour minimum. All charters include full vessel access across 3 decks, 2 cabins, premium stereo with Bluetooth, Starlink WiFi, and capacity for up to 13 guests.
Do I need to bring my own food and drinks?
Yes, all charters are BYOB. You're welcome to bring your own food, drinks, and alcohol aboard. There's a full galley kitchen, refrigerator, and plenty of cooler space. Many guests pick up catering from local St. Petersburg restaurants before boarding. Need suggestions? Just ask when you book.
How far in advance should I book?
Book at least 2-4 weeks ahead, especially for weekends and holidays. Peak season runs March through October and fills up fast. For July 4th, Gasparilla, and New Year's Eve, book 4-6 weeks out to hold your date. A 50% deposit locks in your charter date.
What if I need to change my date?
We reschedule flexibly within available dates. If your captain calls off a charter for weather or safety, including a named storm forecast within 72 hours, you choose any open future date and your booking stays valid for 12 months.
Can I customize the route or itinerary?
Yes. Every charter is private and you set the plan. Popular routes include sunset cruises past the St. Pete Pier and Vinoy, island hops to Egmont Key and Shell Key, sandbar stops at Fort De Soto, and passes under the Skyway Bridge. Your captain will build the route around the weather, the tides, and what you want to see.
Is gratuity expected for the captain and crew?
Gratuity is not included in the charter price and is entirely at your discretion. If you had a great experience, most guests tip 10-15% of the charter total. You can tip in cash at the end of your trip or add it when completing payment.
