We depart our St. Petersburg marina a couple of hours before sunset and cruise the downtown waterfront as the light turns gold, past the St. Pete Pier, the pink towers of the historic Vinoy, and Demens Landing. It's the most romantic stretch of water in Tampa Bay, and on a private charter it's just the two of you (and the crew, who stay out of the way). Dolphins often surface alongside the boat at this hour as they feed on the evening tide.
A quiet anchorage for the toast
As the sun drops, we tuck into a calm anchorage off Pass-a-Grille or Shell Key, cut the engines, and let it go quiet. This is the moment couples remember: champagne on the bow (BYOB, so bring the bottle that means something), the skyline glowing behind you, and nothing but water in every direction. Pop the cork for an anniversary, or use the stillness for a vow renewal or a long-overdue proposal.

After dark, the flybridge becomes a private stargazing deck away from city lights, while the climate-controlled salon keeps things comfortable in any season. The entire 52ft yacht to yourselves, a USCG-licensed captain and crew, fuel, coolers and ice, all in one rate ($500/hour weekdays, $600/hour weekends, 4-hour minimum). Tell us the occasion and the crew will have flowers, your playlist, and the table set on the best deck for the light.
Can we have dinner on board?
Yes. Charters are BYOB and bring-your-own-food. Couples typically bring champagne and a charcuterie spread, takeout from a favorite Beach Drive spot, or a catered dinner the crew serves on the aft deck at golden hour.
When should we schedule a romantic sunset cruise?
