We depart from our home marina in St. Petersburg — about 40 minutes by car from Clearwater Beach, with free parking. Skipping a Clearwater Beach departure is a feature, not a compromise: you avoid the beach traffic on Memorial Causeway, board without the marina crowds, and reach open Gulf water quickly.
Sunset shifts with the season on the Gulf Coast — from about 5:40pm in December to 8:30pm in June — so we time every departure to put you on open water for the full golden hour, with twilight and city lights on the cruise home.
