The captain watches conditions and makes the final call. If it is not safe to go out, we reschedule your charter at no additional charge.

All charters depart from our home marina on 38th Way S in St. Petersburg, Florida. It is centrally located on Tampa Bay with easy access to the Gulf of Mexico, Shell Key, and Egmont Key.

Yes. Our 52ft Marquis Flybridge has 2 full heads (restrooms) located in the lower cabin, so guests always have convenient access during the charter.

Charters are all-inclusive: $500/hr on weekdays (Mon-Thu) and $600/hr on weekends (Fri-Sun), 4-hour minimum, which comes to exactly $2,000 or $2,400 for 4 hours. Bahamas and multi-day trips start at $9,500+.

A 50% deposit locks in your charter date, with the remaining balance due 7 days before departure. Need to move your date? We reschedule flexibly within available dates. If unsafe weather, mechanical issues, or a named storm forecast within 72 hours of your charter forces a cancellation, you choose any open future date. There are no rebooking fees, and your booking stays valid for 12 months.

If a named storm is forecast within 72 hours of your charter, by the National Hurricane Center or the National Weather Service, you choose any open future date at no extra cost, and your booking stays valid for 12 months. We never run charters in unsafe weather, and we never charge fees when the storm makes the call for us. We monitor the forecast for every booked date during hurricane season (June through November).

Yes. Yacht Away Now operates under a fully insured commercial marine policy covering passengers, vessel, and liability. Our captain holds an active U.S. Coast Guard Master license, and the Sly Fox passes annual USCG safety inspections. Insurance certificates are available on request for corporate, wedding, and group bookings. Just ask.
