What Happens After You Book

Booking with us is owner-operated, so your date gets locked in fast without the back-and-forth most charter companies put you through. Here is what happens between the form above and the moment you board.

1. Within 24 hoursYou'll get a personal reply from your captain confirming availability for your date and answering any preliminary questions. Most replies come the same day. You're always free to request the USCG-licensed captain of your choice. Just let us know.
2. Within 48 hoursWe send a written quote with your exact all-inclusive total ($500/hr weekdays, $600/hr weekends, captain, crew, and fuel included) plus any add-ons such as catering coordination, dock pickup adjustments, or special routing. There are no hidden fees.
3. Date hold & depositA 50% deposit locks in your charter date; the remaining balance is due 7 days before departure. If a named storm or unsafe weather forces a cancellation, you choose any open future date. There are no rebooking fees, and your booking stays valid for 12 months. Yacht Away Now operates under a fully insured commercial marine policy.
4. 72 hours before charterYou receive a captain's check-in: confirmed slip address (a private St. Petersburg marina), arrival window, weather outlook, and a packing list for your itinerary, whether that is a sunset cruise, a sandbar trip, or a multi-day Bahamas crossing.
5. Day of charterPlease arrive on time. Your charter window runs from your scheduled start, not your arrival (a noon charter still wraps at its scheduled end even if you board at 12:30), so being on time keeps your full time on the water. Your captain handles the dock-line work, runs the safety briefing, and gets you out on schedule. Your only job is showing up.

Yacht Away Now is owner-operated, which means every inquiry, quote, and pre-charter question goes directly to our team and the captain at the helm of your trip. There are no booking agents, no offshore call centers, and no auto-replies pretending to be a person.

Departure area: all charters depart from a private St. Petersburg, FL marina in the Tampa Bay area. The exact slip address and parking instructions are sent in your captain's check-in 72 hours before your charter. Mailing address: 38th Way S, St. Petersburg, FL.

Booking lead time: we recommend 4-6 weeks for weekends, sunset cruises, July 4th, New Year's Eve, and Gasparilla. Last-minute weekday availability is sometimes possible, so call us to check the same day.
