Add Your Yacht to a Platform That Doesn't Dilute It
Yacht Away Now is a hand-curated charter platform for premium private yachts on Florida's Gulf Coast — not a marketplace.
Your Yacht. Real Charter Revenue. Zero Brand Compromise.
We started Yacht Away Now with one boat — our flagship 52ft Marquis Flybridge — to prove what a premium private charter could feel like when nothing was outsourced. Now we are opening the platform to like-minded yacht owners across Tampa Bay who want their vessel to generate real charter revenue without sitting next to jet skis on a directory.
Premium-Only Positioning
No commodity rentals, no party barges, no jet skis. Your yacht is presented to guests willing to pay premium rates for a curated experience.
Real Charter Revenue
Weekday hourly charters, weekend day packages, multi-day Bahamas crossings. We handle pricing strategy, bookings, and guest vetting. You set your availability.
You Stay in Control
Block off your personal use days. Set guest restrictions. Choose your captain or let us provide one. It's your boat — we run the platform side.
Done-For-You Operations
Photography, listing creation, booking management, guest comms, payments, contracts. We handle the entire platform layer so you don't have to.
What We Look For in a Vessel
We are selective. Curation only works if we say no to most boats — so we do. Here's the bar.
Premium Class
Typically 40ft+ with proper interior accommodations. Flybridges, motoryachts, sport yachts, tri-decks. We're focused on vessels that feel like an event — not a rental.
Maintained Like Yours
Modern, meticulously maintained, fully insured for commercial charter, properly USCG documented. We do a walk-through before any vessel goes live.
Tampa Bay or Repositionable
Vessels based in the Tampa Bay / Gulf Coast region, or owners who can reposition for charter season. We're regional by design — we know these waters and so do our guests.
Owners Who Care
The most important standard. We work with owners who treat charter guests the way they'd want to be treated — because that's what protects the brand for all of us.
How It Works
Four steps from application to live listing. No long-form contracts, no platform lock-in, no surprises.
Apply
Send us details about your yacht — make, model, year, port, current condition, and what you have in mind for charter use. We review every application personally and respond within 48 hours.
Walk-Through
If it's a fit, Josh inspects the yacht in person. We talk through positioning, pricing strategy, your availability calendar, and operational handoff. No pressure — we only proceed if both sides are aligned.
Onboarding
Professional photography, listing creation, pricing setup, contract templates, insurance verification, payment integration. We handle the content and ops stack so your boat is ready for prime time.
Live
Your yacht enters the curated platform. Bookings flow in. Revenue lands. We handle guest communication, captain coordination, and operations — you stay informed and in control.
Owner FAQs
What's the revenue split?
Commission is discussed individually based on yacht class, expected utilization, and your availability commitment. We aim for a structure where strong owners earn meaningfully more than they would on a generic marketplace — because premium positioning commands premium rates.
Can I still use my yacht for personal trips?
Absolutely. You set the calendar. Block off any personal use dates — anniversaries, weekends, fishing trips — and we work around them. The yacht is yours first; the platform second.
Do I need commercial insurance?
Yes — commercial charter requires commercial-grade marine insurance with the proper endorsements. We can recommend brokers we trust if you don't have a policy in place.
Can I captain my own charters?
If you hold a current USCG Master's license, yes. Otherwise we'll pair you with a licensed captain we've vetted. Either way, every charter runs to the same operational standard.
What if my yacht needs maintenance or repairs?
Standard in any charter agreement. You communicate downtime windows in advance and we route around them. We never charter a vessel that isn't operationally ready.
How is this different from open boat marketplaces?
Marketplaces and directories list every kind of vessel, every kind of guest, side-by-side. We're a curated platform. We turn down boats that don't fit, we turn down guests that aren't a match, and we charge premium because we've earned it. Your yacht is presented as part of a small collection, not buried on page 12 of search results.
Is there a contract lock-in?
No long-term lock-in. We work charter-by-charter and season-by-season. If the partnership stops making sense for either side, we part as friends. Confidence in the model — not contracts — is what holds it together.
