Frequently asked questions

How much is a 4-hour yacht charter in Tampa Bay?

A 4-hour yacht charter in Tampa Bay costs approximately $2,000 — either as a flat weekend package or $400/hr × 4 hours plus $200 fuel and $400 captain on weekdays. Crew gratuity is additional.

Can I rent a yacht in Tampa Bay for under $1,000?

No — private yacht charters in Tampa Bay realistically start around $2,000 for a 4-hour booking. Smaller boat rentals (pontoons, deck boats) under 30 feet can be found for $400–$800, but those are not yachts and rarely include a captain.

Do yacht charters in Tampa Bay include food?

Most Tampa Bay yacht charters do not include food in the base price — guests bring their own or arrange catering separately. We provide ice, water, and koozies; everything else is BYO.

Is the captain's gratuity required?

Gratuity is not legally required but is strongly customary. 18–20% of the charter base is standard for excellent service, and 100% goes directly to the captain and deckhand who earned it.

How much is a yacht wedding in Tampa Bay?

Yacht wedding packages in Tampa Bay typically run $2,500–$8,000+ depending on duration, guest count, and add-ons (officiant, photographer, catering, decor). Our base 5-hour weekend charter is $2,500; full ceremony and reception packages are quoted custom.

What's the price difference between Tampa Bay and Miami yacht charters?

Tampa Bay yacht charters are typically 30–50% less expensive than equivalent Miami charters. A comparable 52ft yacht with captain runs $4,000–$5,000/day in Miami versus $2,500/day in Tampa Bay, with similar amenities.
